I actually forgot that I was on this site until someone messaged me and a notice came to my email account.  I feel like such a SLACKER.  Two months and no posts.  LAME.  So what's new with me?  A week and a half until I don't have a place to live.  Two months until graduation and my Europe trip.  Six months until I better have an actual adult job.  My old laptop died, so now I have a crappy new one that will get me through the semester.  My boy is now officially my boyfriend, with labels and everything, and it still makes me happy for him to introduce me as his girlfriend.  It's just nice to hear.  Still drives me frickin crazy about once a month, but I can live with that because we always just talk through it.  Granted, I don't know if this happens because (a) he has no idea I'm angry or (b) he is trying to defuse the situation by distracting me.  So that's basically the short-short version of my life right now.

    Blessed Yule!

Blessed Yule!  I hope it is wonderful and jolly, but meaningful and special, too!  My boy is in the shower, and Liverpool are leading at the half.  I'm off to a good start, and I wish you all the same.

    The Joys of Holiday Shopping

Friday, December 21, 2007, 06:10 PM EST [General]

Yay.  What joy is mine.  Holiday shopping.  So I woke up today hating the gift I bought my father, so I had to rush around like crazy and get him something else, get it in the mail, and then explain to my mother that her youngest daughter is a space case who can't make decisions about gifts so she knows to be looking for another package.  Let me tell ya.  Holiday shopping on the Friday before Christmas is not really the best of ideas!  Let's see.  A crazy man with a trailer almost ran me off the road, and I sat in traffic for forty minutes because apparently red lights are too complicated for some people.  Why do we do this to ourselves?  Hahaha.  I mean really.

    Haphazard Introductions

Thursday, December 20, 2007, 11:57 PM EST [General]

Hello hello all.  It is just before Yule, and as usual, I am wondering how to celebrate this year.  I recently came to the realization that I have been studying Paganism for over a decade now.  What a shock.  I can't believe it has been ten years since I first read Cunningham and Starhawk, since I first cast a Circle with a few girlfriends from school.  They've all given up on the Craft, but I'm still here, still searching, still trying to find myself and my place.  I'm crazy excited that this site exists.  You have no idea.

You know I can't quite pinpoint an exact time that I became drawn to this path. It's kind of like trying to remember when you learned how to talk or read..lol. It feels as if it is something that has always been with me. As an adult I have come up with a few theories:
1)My heritage (I am Native American and Irish) might have something to do with it. Turns out that both my Mother & Father both have certain abilities that may have played a part.
2)Or perhaps if you believe in reincarnation that may also be the reason: I was preforming magick and rituals as a kid-To be blunt I was a Witch before I even knew what a Witch was.

What about you? How did you find your path?
